Search for any city in the world, or let CityWalker use your location. Large cities come pre-split into neighbourhood regions; everywhere else downloads its street map on demand.
CityWalker tracks your route with GPS only while a walk is recording. Walk your own block, a new neighbourhood, or wherever you're curious. Finish the walk and GPS goes back to sleep.
Every street you walked turns from grey to green on your personal map. Once a street is lit, it stays lit; coverage only ever climbs, walk after walk.
Cities above a certain size are broken into neighbourhoods, each with its own coverage percentage, so you can work through a city area by area instead of facing one huge map. 29 large cities come pre-prepared this way. Browse the city list →
Open Plan a walk and pick a mode. Suggest a Walk takes how long you want to be out and builds a loop from where you are. Plan a Route takes a destination you tap and routes you there, one way or as a round trip, with Direct, Scenic, and Explore styles to choose from. Already been exploring before installing CityWalker? Import a GPX file from any app or watch and it counts toward your coverage instantly. If the city isn't added yet, CityWalker adds it automatically.

There's no account and no backend. Your routes, covered streets, and cities live in a local database on your device and are never uploaded. CityWalker sends anonymous usage events and crash reports so I can improve it, and both can be turned off in Settings. See exactly what's sent →
