Streets-only mode

Some users prefer their coverage map to show roads rather than footpaths and trails. Version 2.7.3 adds a Show walking paths toggle in Settings → Coverage display for exactly this.

What it does

When the toggle is off, the coverage map and the displayed percentage drop walking paths (footways, trails, shared cycle/foot paths) from view. Streets stay visible and keep counting.

Achievements and walk records are not affected by this toggle. They always count the full network. The toggle changes what you look at, not what is true.

If old cities do not change when you flip it

Cities you downloaded before 2.7.3 do not include the extra information the toggle needs. Re-download those cities once, from Settings -> Your cities, and the toggle starts working there too.

You only need to do this once per old city. Your walks, your covered streets, and your achievements are kept across the re-download.
